Providing Youth a Summer Full of Adventure
Plan to explore and adventure this summer! These camps are designed to engage scouts while allowing them opportunities to complete some of their Cub Scout elective requirements. The Day Camp program consists of activities, crafts, games, and exploring our natural areas with lots of fresh air and sunshine!
- Children in First grade through fifth can participate in Day Camp.
- Tigers (children in 1st grade) may attend Day Camp and are required to have an adult partner with them at camp.
- Our Day Camps vary in length, time, and location.

What to Expect at Camp in 2026

Day Camp at Schertz, Pickrell Park – June 1-4, 2026 8:30 am to 3:30 pm daily.
(Cub Scouts entering grades 1-5)
At Pickrell Park, the we can hike, swim and shoot BB guns and Archery. Get ready for fun! This exciting Day Camp is open to all Cub Scouts entering grades 1-5 who are ready for an outdoor adventure. Your Scout’s experience will be filled with fun and enriching experiences where each day we focus on something different, because each week of Day Camp is unique.

Day Camp at McGimsey Scout Park (Week 1) – June 15-19, 2026 8:00 am to 3:30 pm daily.
(Cub Scouts entering grades 1-5)
Your Scout’s experience will be filled with fun and enriching experiences which include lots of physical activities and of course, there will be BB’s, archery, swimming, fishing, crafts, and lots of fun, a whole new adventure.
- NEW! Register for both weeks for only $400!
- Addons – after camp swim lessons $50 per week or after-camp care $60 per week
- Parents encouraged to attend!

Day Camp in Boerne – Agricultural Museum – June 23-25, 2026 8:30 am to 3:30 pm daily.
(Cub Scouts entering grades 1-5)
Founded in 1986, the Agricultural Museum and Arts Center offers visitors an enjoyable learning experience about farming history and also makes a fantastic place for Scouting adventures! Your Scout’s experience will be filled with fun and enriching experiences. Of course, there will be BB’s, archery, swimming, crafts, and lots of fun, a whole new adventure. A special note, we made the move to Tuesday through Thursday so the kids could swim every day!
- Swimming, BB and Archery for all ranks!
- Everyone will earn AT LEAST 4 electives!
