Vision
The AAC Fishing Committee is the principal advisor for all AAC fishing programs. Their primary responsibility is guiding the development and promotion of the program, acquisition of equipment and materials, and maintenance of equipment.
Led by a cadre of adult volunteers, certified by both BSA and TPWD, the Fishing Committee provides training for youth and adults throughout the year, in addition to supporting AAC Council sponsored fishing events, as well as BSA National events e.g. High Adventure, Jamboree, etc.

The AAC Fishing Committee aims to promote exciting, challenging, and educational fishing programs conducted in a safe and healthy environment, by utilizing well-maintained equipment, led by trained and experienced anglers.
