
Vision
The AAC Fishing Committee is the principal advisor for all AAC fishing programs. Their primary responsibility is guiding the development and promotion of the program, acquisition of equipment and materials, and maintenance of equipment.
Led by a cadre of Certified BSA and TPWD adult volunteers, the Fishing Committee provides adult and youth training throughout the year, in addition to supports AAC Council sponsored events, as well as BSA National events e.g. High Adventure, Jamboree.
Mission
The AAC Fishing Committee aims to promote exciting, challenging, and educational fishing programs conducted in a safe and healthy environment, by utilizing well-maintained equipment, led by trained and experienced anglers.
